Memberships

The Town of Jonesborough, TN exudes patriotism and is honored to
fly American flags from the street poles in its Historic Business
District. The flags are flown in support of the United States Military
and to display the deep love of our country. The American Flags that
line downtown main street in the oldest town in Tennessee are a
profound source of pride and happiness for our residents and
visitors.
To cover the cost of the flags, the town’s Flag Committee o?ers the
ADOPT A FLAG PROGRAM, where individuals can sponsor one or
more of these beautiful flags. When you adopt a flag, you can
dedicate it to an individual, a group, or sponsor it in your own
name. When you adopt a flag, there is a plaque that is displayed on
the pole where the flag is flown.
